The Miele C3 Kona canister vacuum cleaner marks the middle of the C3 series line of vacuums. The Kona offers all of the standard features plus a few upgrades, including an upgraded carpet tool. As with all of the C3 vacuum cleaners, the Kona features the whisper quiet 1,200-watt Miele-made Vortex motor. The vortex motor offers variable suction control where the user can choose one of six different suction settings via +/- controls on the vacuum body.
One of the premium features on the C3 Kona canister is the deluxe handle grip with electrobrush controls. This feature gives the user the ability to control the speed and power of the electric carpet brush from the handle of the vacuum. The handle is connected to a crushproof hose that connects to the canister body. The lightweight, electric, telescopic, stainless steel wand also connects to the deluxe handle. The telescopic wand is adjustable for different cleaning heights and fully connects to the electric carpet brush, the hard floor brush and the three integrated accessory tools. The accessory tools stored on-board include a dusting brush, upholstery tool and a crevice nozzle for complete home cleaning.
The C3 Kona canister vacuum also features Miele's exclusive 12-stage AirClean Sealed System. This exclusive system is made possible in part with the help of the 9-layer unique G/N 4.76-quart AirClean FilterBags. Additionally, an Active AH-50 HEPA filter captures 99% of dust particles down to 0.3 microns.
The Miele C3 Kona vacuum features two floor tools to tackle different floor styles throughout the home. The ever popular Miele SBB 300-3 effectively cleans solid flooring throughout the home including hardwoods, tile or linoleum. The Miele SEB 228 is designed to clean carpets of varying heights and has a 5-step height adjustment on the tool's head for effectively cleaning differing carpet heights. Both tools dock on the back or sides of the canister when not in use.
The Kona offers a 36 foot operating radius with the telescopic wand, hose and power cable. The power cord automatically stores in the body of the vacuum by tapping the one-touch cable rewind on the vacuum's body. The Kona comes in a sleek obsidian black finish and offers a 7 year motor & casing warranty with a 1 year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
